I have been interested in photography as long as I can remember. My first camera was given to me by my grandfather when I was 7 years old. After that I was constantly taking pictures. I love the idea that a single image can bring back an intense memory or evoke powerful emotion. That is what makes me love what I do.

I was born and raised in South Dakota, attended SDSU, and worked in Sioux Falls for several years. In 2012, I moved to Rock Rapids, and was married a year later to my amazing wife, Des. She has been a great driving force in my life.

I like natural light photography, aiming for a clean, simple look that tells an amazing story. I am always seeking to expand my horizons photographically. If you have something in mind, let me know and we will work together to create it.
